About Us

Meet Kimberly

Hi, I'm Kimberly H., the breeder behind Darling Dachshund, based in Southgate, Michigan.

Our small-home program bridges exceptional health screening with a loving family environment. Puppies are raised in-home with constant human interaction, daily socialization, and exposure to normal household sounds — so they're confident and well-adjusted before joining your family.

A quick note on the breed: Dachshunds are small dogs with big personalities. They're loyal, clever, and can be genuinely dramatic — expect a dog who has opinions and isn't afraid to share them. If you love a dog with character, you're in the right place.
